Community Involvement
Jane, in addition to helping our clients find their dream homes, is a 9 year breast cancer survivor, actively involved with the
Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. She participates each year in the
CIBC Run For The Cure, running the 5k route. Over the past 9 years, Jane has personally raised over $40,000 for breast cancer research, prevention and education. Jane is the Team Captain for the Survivor Vancouver Team of breast cancer survivors. For more information on how you can join the
Running Room Survivor Clinic or the Survivor Vancouver Team please
email Jane.
Jane has also volunteered for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation at various public and media events to promote the breast cancer cause. In 2012, Jane was invited to be one of 4 RE/MAX Realtors who are breast cancer survivors to participate in a Fundraising Fashion Show and Luncheon in Las Vegas. Jane was interviewed, along with several other breast cancer survivors, for the CBCF and Canadian Cancer Society's Online Breast Cancer Navigation Map. Jane & Ken are also actively supporting the RE/MAX SOLD ON A CURE program. Each time our clients buy or sell with us we make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Together, we are helping to find a cure for breast cancer.
In addition to helping our clients realize their dream of owning a home, Jane is actively training our pure-bred Havanese, Brinkley, helping him realize his dream of being a well-behaved pooch. Check out how his training is going by clicking this link on the Sit Happens Website -
Brinkley.
Ken and Jane have been blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren.
